Med Spa - Nurse Practitioner

Alluraderm is seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our medical aesthetics team in Albuquerque. With nearly 20 years in the community, we provide a wide range of aesthetic treatments in a professional, welcoming environment.
The ideal candidate is passionate about aesthetics, patient care, and delivering safe, personalized results. Experience with laser treatments, microneedling, and injectables is strongly preferred.
Position Overview
The NP will provide comprehensive aesthetic care, including injectables, laser and light-based treatments, microneedling, skin rejuvenation, and body contouring , while providing exceptional patient care and maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Consultations
- Conduct aesthetic consultations, assess patient goals and medical history, and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Educate patients on treatment options, expectations, risks, and aftercare.
Laser & Microneedling
- Perform laser and light-based treatments, which may include Fotona, Fraxel, Clear + Brilliant, photofacial/IPL, laser hair removal, and Thermage , based on training and credentialing.
- Perform SkinPen microneedling and other appropriate skin rejuvenation treatments.
Injectables & Body Contouring
- Perform aesthetic injectable treatments, including Botox, Jeuveau, Daxxify, and dermal fillers .
- Perform and/or oversee CoolSculpting and other body contouring treatments as appropriate.
Patient Safety & Documentation
- Follow established clinical protocols, laser safety standards, informed consent requirements, and applicable New Mexico regulations.
- Medical Oversight: Provide clinical expertise and medical oversight in aesthetic treatments, ensuring all procedures are performed safely and effectively.
- Maintain accurate medical records and appropriately manage treatment concerns or adverse reactions.
Team Collaboration
- Collaborate with providers, nurses, aestheticians, and leadership to provide an exceptional patient experience.
- Participate in clinical training, education, and practice initiatives.
Professional Development
- Stay current with advances in injectables, lasers, microneedling, skincare, and other aesthetic technologies.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or applicable graduate-level NP education.
- Active New Mexico Nurse Practitioner license and applicable national certification.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- 1–3 years of NP experience , preferably in medical aesthetics, dermatology, plastic surgery, or a related specialty.
- Experience with laser treatments and microneedling strongly preferred.
- Injectable experience, including neurotoxins and dermal fillers, preferred.
- CoolSculpting/body contouring experience preferred.
- Strong communication, clinical judgment, attention to detail, and patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a clinical team.
- Proficiency with EMR/clinical software preferred.
