✨Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth! Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Facilities Maintenance Manager at Columbus Youth Academy in Tampa, Florida ✨
Columbus Youth Academy is a moderate-risk residential commitment program for male youth up to age 19. This program provides youth with comprehensive care, treatment, supervision, and evidence-based sex offender services. Youth will also receive psychotherapeutic services, including individual, family, and group counseling, while in the program.
What you will do : The Facilities Maintenance Manager works as a member of the Administration/Business Department team. Primarily responsible for overseeing and conducting all aspects of site maintenance, including but not limited to: grounds keeping, water systems, daily maintenance, emergency repairs, remodeling projects and new construction at designated ROP sites. The Projects Manager reports to the Program Director or other designated supervisor. Directly supervises maintenance and grounds keeping staff.
To be considered you must process the below requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent and at least 4 years of related experience
- Licensed Technician in a related field: plumbing, electrical, HVAC or other
- Supervisory experience required
- Possess a current State Drivers License and have an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years
- Be able to pass a criminal background clearance check, TB test and drug screen (we do not test for THC)
- Previous HVAC experience.
