Position: Software Dev Quality Assurance – Level I

Nation Safe Drivers (NSD) is a leader in delivering high-quality roadside assistance and related services. Our software development lifecycle (SDLC) is fast-paced and dynamic, involving multiple project teams operating in an agile environment. We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Software Tester to join our team and help ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manual Testing: Design, execute, and document manual test cases to ensure functionality that meets business requirements.

- Test Case Management:

Create and manage test cases in Zephyr or other application, ensuring they align with Jira tickets and acceptance criteria.

- Execute test cases and provide detailed test reports.

- Postman Collections: Execute Postman collections to validate API functionality. (Experience creating Postman collections is a plus.)

- SQL Querying: Write and execute basic SQL queries to validate backend data and support testing processes.

- Agile Collaboration: Work closely with developers, project managers, and other QA engineers in an agile SDLC to meet sprint timelines.

- Defect Reporting and Tracking: Identify, log, and track bugs using Jira, working to resolve issues promptly.

- Release Support: Participate in release nights as needed, ensuring successful deployments. Occasionally, weekend work may be required.

Qualifications:

- Required Skills and Experience:

Technical skills and experience working with or using software applications.

- Committed to learning new skills as needed.

- Experience with NSD RSA and/or NSD F&I products and processes a plus

- Proficiency in creating and executing test cases.

- Experience executing Postman collections; ability to create collections is a plus.

- Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries for data validation.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to collaborate effectively in team settings or work independently.

- Preferred Skills and Experience:

Hands-on experience with NSD products and/or processes.

- Familiarity with User/UI testing processes a plus.

- Familiarity with API testing and backend validation processes a plus.

- Experience working in a collaborative, fast paced team work environment.
