Come Drive Innovation with Us. We are currently looking for a Corporate Services Program Manager to join our team in Franklin, TN. This role is responsible for Identifying, developing, and implementing all facets of Corporate Services and facilities platform. Working collaboratively this position is responsible for the planning and Implementation of the initiatives and programs that support Nissan's Corporate priorities related to Corporate Services and Facilities.

The role requires extensive knowledge of federal/provincial and municipal jurisdiction laws and regulatory requirements relating to Facility Operation, collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and vendors to ensure that Nissan’s Facilities are compliant to code and regulatory requirements with an emphasis on safety, security, and sustainability.

This role is responsible for developing and managing operational and capital budgets, defining long-term strategic departmental and facility plans and managing a team of contractors/vendors that support the business operation, onsite at the Nissan Headquarters facility located in Franklin, TN as well as other sites across the U.S..

The daily activities of the Corporate Services portfolio are implemented by vendor/contractor staffing and include facility maintenance, facility operational and capital projects, internal administrative services, customer and employee services, food service, and support for physical and access security.

This role supports Corporate Real Estate in communications and transactions relating to real estate for both corporately owned and leased Facilities.  This position builds and maintains key relationships to understand Internal priorities associated with facility and administrative operations and to strategize, propose and plan for future requirements of individual business areas with a focus on health, safety, sustainability and employee engagement.

This role is located within Franklin, TN with a moderate requirement for overnight travel to facilities throughout the U.S. as well as Canada.

A Day in the Life:

Reporting directly to the NNA Corporate Facilities Engineering Manager, this role requires a significant amount of autonomy, personal organization, time management and project prioritization. The individual in this role is responsible for determining required escalations and setting in motion to the corporate designate of authority as appropriate.

The following are core responsibilities of this job function.

- Identify, develop, and implement all aspects of the Corporate Services and Facility Strategy and Business Plan. Develop and Control Operational Budgets for corporately operated facilities.
- Complete and report accurate monthly accruals, forecasting and adjustments to budgets. Communicating and resolving variances as required. Be Responsible for ensuring that all departmental invoices are received and processed within required parameters of contract, validating, and charging appropriately against the appropriate budget lines.
- Work with Purchasing, Legal and Facilities Project Manager (internal and 3rd party vendor) in advanced sourcing activities related to the facility operation and Corporate Service contracts this includes developing SOW, short-listing qualified vendors, validating and approving contract specification, participating in tender activities and securing required funding to support all contracts.
- Provide management of an onsite vendor/contractor including checking timeliness and quality of work, coaching, guidance, ensuring collaboration, empowerment and communication.
- Act as the key stakeholder for 3rd party operational vendor contracts relating to preventive maintenance, reactive maintenance, facility projects, and onsite employee services manage the completion of all contracts, initiating and leading escalations as needed and participating in business reviews, KPI management and performance improvement activities.
- Build and cultivate positive relationships with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Work with key stakeholders to measure the effectiveness and needs of varying cross-functional and employee programs and facilities ensuring required financial, legal and all other cross-functional reviews and approvals are completed as required.
- Identify, develop, and communicate for inform or decision and then execute new and or changed employee services to leadership in support of employee engagement and business operational excellence.
- Present facility project opportunities / status, budgets, and capital plans to all levels of leadership in formal and informal presentations and meeting discussion. Act as an interdepartmental liaison and coordinator in real estate driven projects, (operational and capital) this includes engagement of specific client/vendor contracts in support of providing recommendations on budgets and design plans and overseeing execution of actual project completion.
- Engage regularly with internal responsible departments to maintain an understanding of Nissan's corporate strategy and developing business to plan and develop long and short-term goals and objectives. Identify, recommend, and contribute to the development of policies and procedures relating to the facility use and ongoing Operation including business continuity, sustainability, EV infrastructure. Responsible for providing a high level of customer satisfaction while maintaining an efficient budget within defined business plan.
- Be accountable and perform special projects requiring high levels of confidentiality and sensitivity.
- The execution of the daily operations of the Corporate Services Portfolio is supported by onsite contractor/vendor staffing. This role manages these vendors who each have their own individual job responsibilities (GDI Ainsworth, IST,Aramark) Administrative Shipping/Receiving Operation (IST)

Who We’re Looking for:

Required:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline
- Years of Experience: 10+ years' experience in facility management in a corporate environment; familiarity with trade associations and ability to lead and develop cross-functional teams, customer service experience, financial budget responsibility
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate to external and internal stakeholders in leadership positions.
- Strong financial acumen, with the proficiency to develop and manage capital plans and budgets.
- High degree of professional autonomy and extensive vendor management experience.
- Collaborative, organized, and execution oriented with strong communication skills
- Proficient in the following software programs is considered an asset: SAP, Autocad, Microsoft Office products
- Physical Requirements: Moderate travel to regional facilities and other locations
- 24/7 responsibility for Facility related emergencies
- Ability to perform work onsite at Franklin, TN HQ.
