About this role

Job Title: Regional Sales Executive I
Department: Sales and Business Development

This position is responsible for adding new accounts while overseeing existing accounts expanding and growing sales revenue within the assigned vertical. The role will also be required to develop Referral Partners within the assigned territory. The individual will call on the assigned specific verticals, including restaurants, senior living housing, hotels, country clubs, casinos, corporate dining halls, stadiums, and arenas within their assigned region.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

- New Business Acquisition: Actively prospect for new business opportunities within the region, identify potential clients and engage in effective sales techniques to acquire new accounts.
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products and services to meet their evolving needs.
- Sales Presentations and Negotiations: Conduct persuasive sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients. Negotiate contract terms and conditions, ensuring a win-win situation for both Pudu and the client.
- Revenue Growth: Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue quotas set for the region. Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve sustainable growth.
- Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for business expansion and differentiation.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure a cohesive and seamless customer experience.
- Sales Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports and performance analyses for management, providing insights into sales achievements, challenges, and opportunities.
- In conjunction with the department leadership, set the targets for the territory and develop a RaaS (Robot as a Service) sales and marketing strategy designed to meet the company’s growth targets.
- Identify key influencers in the territory and make sales presentations to prospective customers and stakeholders.
- Attend regional and national trade shows to promote the company’s products and services.
- Review and present proposals and agreements to customers.
- Secure executed RaaS agreements from customers and key accounts.
- Update and maintain the company’s CRM for the territory. Review dashboards and reports regularly and assess progress against those targets.
- Work closely with Robotics Field Engineers and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless customer service through the initial robot deployment and training phase.
- Support the product management team and communicate feature requests that capture the voice of the company’s customers, enhance our products, and grow the business inside the territory.
- Actively support and adhere to the company’s safety, quality, environmental compliance programs, and company policies.
- Perform other related duties or specialized areas as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities/Qualifications:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional listening skills, including the ability to solve problems proactively and exercise sound judgment.
- Experience opening new markets and establishing new customers.
- Experience in highly technical products, proven sales, and marketing ability.
- A consistent track record of increasing sales revenue. Achieving and exceeding targeted quarterly and annual sales goals.
- Strong computer skills with NetSuite (ERP), Salesforce (CRM), G-Suite, Slack, Zoom, Concur, etc.

Preferred Skills/Abilities/Qualifications:

- Previous hardware and Saas software experience is highly preferred.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to function well in a fast-paced startup environment.

Education/Experience:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- +5 years of outside sales experience required.
- Previous Hospitality Sales experience.

The pay range for this position is $82k - $91K base, bonus, and commission. Pay is dependent on the applicant's relevant experience.
