As a Product Management Sr Manager within PNC's Treasury Management organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, New York, NY, Chicago, IL, Charlotte, NC, Dallas, TX or Phoenix, AZ.

As a Product Management Sr. Manager within PNC’s Treasury Management Global Payments organization, you will manage and develop a team of Product Managers responsible for a portfolio of strategic immediate payment solutions: Instant Payments (both Real Time Payments and FedNow), Intelligent Payment Routing, our business-to-consumer payee choice solution known as ePayments, Direct-to-Debit Card Payments and Zelle Disbursements.

You and your team will define and execute the immediate payments product strategy and multi-year roadmap across the full set of immediate payments solutions. You will be accountable for driving the product strategy and priorities, client adoption and usage, and financial outcomes including revenue and direct expenses across the product lifecycle. You and your team will partner with other Product Management partners, Product Development, Technology, Operations, Servicing, Implementation, and Risk partners to inform the design and operating approach for sales enablement and support, servicing, implementation and risk management of the immediate payments product line.

Required Qualifications:

- Extensive Immediate Payments product management experience including instant payments, intelligent payment routing, B2C payee choice solutions, direct-to-debit card and Zelle disbursements. Knowledge of other non-U.S. domestic wire systems helpful.
- Proven ability to partner effectively with product development, operations, sales and other stakeholders.
- Ability to define, prioritize and execute product work across multiple platforms and initiatives.
- Strong communication and influence skills with the ability to drive alignment across business and development/technology stakeholders.
- Experience operating and presenting at a strategic level while maintaining accountability for execution.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience presenting at industry conferences and with senior-level corporate decision makers.

Job Description:

- Develops and maintains the product strategy plan for the Immediate Payments product line including the competitive position, growth strategies, financial and performance metrics and product roadmap. Aligns the plan with key partners across Treasury Management and the enterprise.
- Champions product improvements including appropriate business justification and prioritization. Collaborates with product development and operations to define the overall scope and requirements for new initiatives.
- Manages the product financials including budgeting and forecasting of revenue growth and direct expenses. Provides periodic financial updates and insights along with key product and industry updates.
- Partners closely with Operations, Sales, Servicing, Implementation, Risk and Compliance partners to ensure a positive end-to-end client experience.
- Partners closely with Go-to-Market teams to develop and maintain appropriate marketing, collateral and communication materials while educating TM partners on product capabilities and enhancements.
- Participates in industry groups such as The Clearing House RTP Business Committee and meets with Federal Reserve representatives to ensure PNC is actively engaged in industry discussions and changes. Actively contribute thought leadership to PNC clients and prospects thru articles, conferences and other forums. Engages bi-directionally with various standards forum as required to influence positive industry change results.
- Collaborates with other PNC lines of business including Retail and others on enterprise immediate payments initiatives.

Job Description

- Responsible for the end-to-end business and financial results for multiple product sets utilizing traditional and emerging capabilities in technology, operations, and data analytics to offer customers a differentiated product experience through the leadership of teams managing new and existing products or experiences.
- Uses knowledge of emerging technologies to deliver product to customers through all applicable channels. Presents initiatives to gain senior management buy-in. Manages progress to ensure initiatives are completed on time, within budget and meet strategic goals.
- Influences product and customer experience trends by monitoring competitors or peer organizations to stay abreact of emerging product and technology trends in the industry. Leads teams responsible for translating concepts or designs into new or improved products, product lines or experiences and recognizes, anticipates and resolves complex operational and process problems that arise.
- Evaluates potential product or experience development projects for feasibility and value. Ensures successful outcomes from key stakeholders including sales, marketing, digital channel delivery and other internal service partners. Participates in client-facing and external stakeholder activities throughout the product or experience lifecycle. Adheres to company-defined risk appetite as part of the first line of defense. Serves as point of review and sign off for risk management, compliance and audit requirements, as needed.
- Manages, motivates and develops one or multiple product lines and managers as well as the performance evaluation process of the Product Development Management team and key contributors. Identifies talent gaps in team and staffs appropriately.

Pay Transparency

Base Salary: $123,200.00 – $274,560.00

Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
