Job Summary**
The Process Technician III at Hyve Solutions Corporation is responsible for the setup, operation, monitoring, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and processes to ensure efficient production and high-quality output. This role involves troubleshooting complex issues, optimizing process parameters, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Responsibilities**
* Operate and maintain a variety of manufacturing equipment, including but not limited to, surface mount technology (SMT) machines, automated optical inspection (AOI) systems, and reflow ovens.
* Perform advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics on equipment and processes to identify and resolve issues, minimizing downtime and maximizing throughput.
* Set up and adjust process parameters according to engineering specifications and production schedules.
* Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment and tooling to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
* Monitor production processes to identify deviations from standards and implement corrective actions.
* Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to optimize manufacturing processes, improve yields, and reduce waste.
* Participate in the development and implementation of new processes and equipment.
* Train and mentor less experienced technicians on equipment operation and process procedures.
* Maintain accurate records of production data, equipment maintenance, and process adjustments.
* Adhere to all safety protocols and quality standards.
* Contribute to root cause analysis for production defects and implement effective solutions.
Job Qualifications**
* Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., Electronics, Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Process Technician in a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably in electronics assembly.
* Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment, including SMT, AOI, and reflow profiles.
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
* Demonstrated ability to perform complex troubleshooting and problem-solving.
* Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficient in using common hand tools and measurement equipment.
* Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles is a plus.
* Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
