Position: Patient Care Tech (PCT)

Location: Fort Thomas, KY - Inside of St. Elizabeth's Hospital

Schedule: Full Time - 12 Hour Shifts - Day Shift 7:00am-7:00pm & Night Shift 7:00pm-7:00am Compensation: Up to $26.44 per hour, based on experience, plus competitive shift differentials for nights and weekends

Sign On Bonus: $2,500.00

Responsibilities

- Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair

- Participate in hourly rounds

- Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs

- Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs

- Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition

- Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed

- Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

- High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)

- BLS is required within 90 days of hire

- Hospital experience as a patient care tech, or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
