Lonestar Integrated Solutions is seeking an Electrical Panel Assembler to support the production and assembly of electrical control panels and equipment enclosures in a controlled shop environment. This role is responsible for assembling components to specification using engineering drawings and does not involve field installation, maintenance, or energized electrical work.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and experienced in electrical assembly within a manufacturing or production setting.
Responsibilities:
• Assemble electrical control panels, enclosures, and related components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Perform point-to-point wiring, crimping, labeling, and component mounting in accordance with UL508 standards and internal procedures.
• Read and interpret schematics, bills of material, and layout drawings to complete assemblies accurately.
• Use hand and power tools to fabricate, mount, and secure electrical components within panels and enclosures.
• Conduct visual inspections and basic continuity checks to ensure assembly quality and completeness (no energized testing).
• Maintain organized workstations and ensure proper material handling and inventory usage.
• Collaborate with production leads and engineering to resolve assembly questions or drawing discrepancies.
• Follow all safety protocols for a manufacturing and warehouse environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience in electrical assembly, panel wiring, or similar production environment preferred.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and layout drawings.
• Experience with wire stripping, crimping, and labeling.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
Physical Requirements:
• May be required to move up to 40 lbs.
• Regularly works around moving mechanical parts and in warehouse conditions that are not always climate controlled and may include heat and humidity.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive hand and arm movements.
• Requires manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina to perform assembly tasks.
