Asset & Wealth Management–New York-Vice President, Product Management-4993008

Job Duties: Vice President, Product Management with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, New York. Partner with stakeholders to lead definition and prioritization of product roadmap to achieve tactical and strategic objectives. Define, document, and prioritize product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to guide the development process and ensure clear communication between stakeholders. Break down complex problems and processes into feature components that drive product development and platform extensibility. Collaborate across product management teams to identify cross-product opportunities and to ensure all problems are considered within the context of the target state product architecture. Collaborate with cross-functional teams of product managers, software developers and designers to define and implement the product vision for institutional client platforms and manage other product manager. Ensure the delivery of high-quality, user-centric software solutions that improve the experience of client onboarding, managing lifecycle events and digitizing client interactions. Design and monitor business metrics to establish a feedback loop informing strategic and prioritization-related decisions. Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics related to product usage, adoption, and client satisfaction and use data insights to drive continuous improvement on product offerings.

Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related field such as Chemical Engineering and five (5) years of experience in job offered or related role. Prior experience must include five (5) years with the following: experience with software product management or related; leading a product in all stages of the development lifecycle including inception, analysis, design, review, testing, and deployment leveraging agile development methodologies and tools (such as Scrum Framework, JIRA, or Confluence); collaborating with technical teams, experience with system architecture, and translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders; working with cross-functional teams to deliver software solutions on schedule and within budget; working and communicating directly with technical and non-technical stakeholders; scaling systems to handle increasing business volumes, optimize performance and throughput; and product management including prioritizing the backlog, using domain expertise, customer insights and market research to make informed trade-offs between new feature development, platform investment and optimizations.

Salary Range: Annual base salary for this New York, New York-based position is $156,000 - $243,000.
