Research Project Manager

Salary Grade 22: $79,069 - $90,086

The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene, Inc. is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Research Project Manager in the Office of Addiction Services and Supports, Division of Planning, Research, Information Management and Evaluation to provide administrative and operational support for the portfolio of research and evaluation activities, including the coordination of sponsored projects, grants and subawards, regulatory and IRB tracking, project deliverables, institutional agreements, reporting requirements, and dissemination activities. The position will work closely with Division/Bureau leadership, investigators, program staff, fiscal and grants-management personnel, and external research partners to support the timely and effective implementation of research initiatives.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Assists in the administrative tracking and management of NIH and other federally sponsored grants and subawards.

- Prepares and coordinates NIH Research Performance Progress Reports for multiple grants and other required sponsor reports.

- Creates IRB submissions for research and evaluation projects.

- Maintain tracking systems and prepares reports on dissemination activities, including manuscripts, conference participation, and presentations.

- Maintains administrative records for active research projects, including approvals, agreements, reporting requirements, and study documentation.

- Serves as an administrative liaison among investigators, program staff, fiscal and grants-management personnel, IRBs, and collaborating institutions.

- Other responsibilities, as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

- 7 years of full-time professional experience in research administration, research project coordination or management, regulatory operations, grants or sponsored programs administration, or a closely related field OR;

- Associate's degree in social/behavioral sciences and/or public health, or a closely related field and 5 years of full-time professional experience in research administration, research project coordination or management, regulatory operations, grants or sponsored administration programs, or a closely related field, OR;

- Bachelor's degree in social/behavioral sciences and/or public health, or a closely related field and 3 years of full-time professional experience in research administration, research project coordination or management, regulatory operations, grants or sponsored programs administration, or a closely related field, OR;

- Master's degree in social/behavioral sciences and/or public health or a closely related field and 2 years of full-time professional experience in research administration, research project coordination or management, regulatory operations, grants or sponsored programs administration, or a closely related field, OR;

- J.D. in social/behavioral sciences and/or public health or a closely related field and 1 year of full-time professional experience in research administration, research project coordination or management, regulatory operations, grants or sponsored programs administration, or a closely related field

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with NIH or other federal funding grant mechanisms.

- Experience with government-academic research partnerships.

- Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) Certification.
