We are looking for a Senior Analyst Credit to join our Enterprise Risk team and support effective credit risk management across multiple business units. In this intermediate-level role, you will conduct credit reviews, recommend credit limits, monitor exposures, and help manage financial assurances. What You Will Do:
- Perform complex enterprise-wide credit reviews for rated and non-rated counterparties, recommending appropriate credit limits for multiple Enbridge business units.
- Collaborate with members of the Credit team to coordinate enterprise-wide credit limit approvals and determine financial assurances required to support credit authorization.
- Monitor counterparty credit exposure against approved limits and proactively identify and request collateral when required.
- Support the execution, administration, and documentation of new or amended financial assurances, including parental guarantees and letters of credit.
- Maintain accurate counterparty, credit, and financial assurance information within Enbridge’s systems of record.
- Develop and maintain process documentation while supporting the implementation of credit policies, procedures, and processes used to measure, monitor, and control counterparty credit risk.
- Support credit-related SOX controls, audit requirements, reporting, and other Enterprise Risk initiatives as required.
Who You Are:
- You have a related university degree combined with 2 to 4 years of related experience.
- You bring a sound technical understanding of financial statement analysis and credit risk management.
- You have demonstrated experience prioritizing work and improving or implementing processes to streamline and optimize activities.
- You are detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple processes and competing priorities while consistently meeting deadlines.
- You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and can effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- A finance-related designation such as a CPA, CFA, or MBA, and experience in energy marketing and trading credit, is preferred.
Working Conditions
- Work involves managing tight deadlines related to credit approvals, exposure monitoring, and security requirements.
- The role requires extended periods of computer/VDT work, potentially 8 or more hours per day.
- Additional hours may occasionally be required during peak business periods.
