Job Title: ADE – Field Sales and Business Recruitment Specialist (Worcester, MA) Job Description
This role focuses on recruiting local businesses in and around Worcester, MA to join a new delivery partner program. You will work closely with a Field Manager and other local contractors to conduct door-to-door outreach, present and pitch the program, qualify prospective partners, guide them through the application process, and support community-based recruitment events. The position involves regular travel within a radius of up to approximately 90 minutes to 2 hours driving distance and offers commission opportunities based on each partner successfully onboarded.
Responsibilities
- Visit prospective businesses door to door in targeted towns within up to approximately 90 minutes driving distance to promote the delivery partner program.
- Present and pitch the new program opportunity to prospective businesses and generate interest in applying.
- Qualify prospective businesses based on program criteria and guide them through the full application process.
- Lead and manage prospect and applicant activity in Salesforce, maintaining an organized and up-to-date pipeline.
- Support the Field Manager in planning, coordinating, and hosting recruitment events in the community, such as lunch-and-learn sessions and town hall meetings.
- Collaborate with the Field Manager to engage local influencers and organizations, including chambers of commerce and economic development associations, to drive referrals.
- Import Excel spreadsheets into Salesforce on a weekly basis to ensure accurate data entry and reporting.
- Drive referrals through community organizations and local networks to expand program reach.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service in all interactions with prospective partners.
- Travel within the territory, including up to approximately 4 hours round-trip daily when needed, to meet recruitment goals.
Essential Skills
- At least 2 years of experience in sales and/or customer service.
- Proven outside or field sales experience, including door-to-door or territory sales.
- Hands-on experience with CRM systems; Salesforce experience is preferred.
- Experience in account management and lead generation.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a sales pipeline and track activities in CRM tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to solve problems for applicants in the field.
- Tech-savvy, with experience working across multiple systems and technologies.
- Ability to travel up to approximately 4 hours round trip on a daily basis when required.
- High sense of urgency, professionalism, and enthusiasm for working with others.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Local familiarity with Worcester, MA and surrounding areas is highly preferred.
- Previous field sales experience is a plus.
- Prior experience in roles involving sales and/or negotiation with customers is a plus.
- Comfort working independently in the field and collaborating closely with a Field Manager and other contractors.
- Ability to build relationships with community organizations, chambers of commerce, and economic development associations.
- Motivation to work in a commission-driven environment with incentives for meeting goals.
Work Environment
This is a field-based role with a hybrid work setup. You will spend approximately 3 to 5 days per week in the field conducting door-to-door outreach and meeting with prospective businesses across a territory centered around Worcester, MA, with travel extending to nearby towns within up to approximately 90 minutes to 2 hours driving distance. When not in the field, you work from home, using Salesforce and other technology tools to manage your pipeline, import Excel data, and plan recruitment activities. The environment is fast-paced and goal-oriented, with commission opportunities per partner converted and added monthly incentives for hitting performance targets. Mileage is reimbursed at a set rate per mile, supporting regular travel throughout the territory.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.50 - $28.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
