About this role
Description
Join the PXT (HR) team supporting Amazon's Japan Customer Fulfillment (JCFS) organization as a Senior HR Business Partner (Sr. HRBP), primarily supporting RME-M (Reliability and Maintenance Engineering – Maintenance). RME-M keeps our highly automated fulfillment network running through the maintenance and continuous improvement of robotics and automated equipment, with employees based at sites across Japan and a business that continues to grow rapidly. Your scope spans the broader JCFS organization and will flex as the business grows and evolves.
As a strategic partner to business leaders, you will use data and insight to guide decisions and build an organization where people want to stay—through leadership development, talent strategy, organizational health, and employee experience. You will go well beyond day-to-day HR support, bringing influence, sound judgment, and ownership. You will also help develop other HR team members and take part in cross-organizational projects, making this a role where you can meaningfully grow your HR career. Bring your strategic HR capabilities to a fast-paced, ambiguous, and high-impact environment.
At Amazon, you'll work alongside the latest AI and GenAI tools that are increasingly woven into how teams operate: from AI-powered capabilities that accelerate decision-making, to Generative AI that helps you focus on work that truly matters. You'll have opportunities and resources to develop AI fluency at your own pace, with continuous learning built into the culture.
