Job Title: Operations Trainer
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver structured, hands-on training aligned with DOJO curriculum and company standards to new hires.
- Demonstrate standard operating procedures and proper use of tools and materials.
- Train with intention while instructing new hires on proper techniques, safety protocols, and standard work.
- Observe and assess trainee performance by watching for accuracy, pace, and safe behavior. Offer consistent and constructive feedback and tips to help the new hire understand the operations.
- Create a supportive learning space that encourages questions and fosters a positive attitude toward continuous learning and adaptability.
- Ensure floor readiness by tracking progress of each hire using the DOJO evaluation tools. Sign off on skills when consistently demonstrated to standard.
Required Skills:
- Strong communication skills including speaking to groups (10-30 count)
- Able to communicate effectively with peers, managers, and new hires
- Dexterity and process knowledge
- Strong coaching and mentorship ability
- Attention to detail
- Proficient in standard assembly line processes
- Reliability and adaptability
- Highly organized with strong time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as a trainer in a production or manufacturing environment.
