Meeting Services Support – JLL
What this job involves: As a Meeting Services Support team member at JLL, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional workplace and meeting experiences for employees, clients, and executive stakeholders. This position is responsible for supporting meeting room operations, special events, and audio-visual services across the site. You will ensure meeting spaces are functional, organized, and fully equipped while providing hands-on technical and customer support for conferences, video calls, and workplace events. The role requires strong attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, service-focused environment.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Set up and reconfigure meeting rooms and event spaces including tables, chairs, linens, digital signage, and AV equipment based on event and meeting requirements.
- Provide on-site support for meetings, video conferences, and executive events, including assistance with Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex, and room AV systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve audio-visual equipment issues involving projectors, flat screens, microphones, speakers, amplifiers, and room control systems.
- Maintain meeting room and shared AV equipment inventories, including spare equipment, furniture, supplies, and asset records within workplace scheduling applications.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by responding promptly to support requests, urgent room needs, and VIP meeting support requirements.
- Support workplace and special event logistics including delivery, setup, breakdown, and transportation of tables, chairs, monitors, and meeting supplies throughout the facility.
- Follow workplace safety standards and participate in required training, team meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; AV or technical training preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting meeting rooms, conference services, event setup, or audio-visual operations.
- Hands-on experience operating and troubleshooting AV equipment including projectors, flat screens, microphones, speakers, and conferencing systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Experience supporting conferencing platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Cisco Webex.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. and perform frequent physical activity including walking, stair climbing, setup, and breakdown of meeting furniture.
- Strong customer service, communication, organizational, and multitasking skills with the ability to work independently and under time constraints.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting executive-level or VIP meetings and events in a corporate environment.
- Familiarity with workplace scheduling or room booking platforms such as MyWorkplace or similar systems.
- Basic inventory management and reporting experience using spreadsheets or workplace applications.
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance practices for AV equipment and meeting room technology.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and support multiple meetings or events simultaneously.
- Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a proactive and solution-focused approach.
- Passion for creating positive workplace experiences and delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Work Shift: Monday through Friday, approximately 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Salary: $19 per hour
