The Public Health Communications and Promotion Officer is a valued member of the Ovens Murray Public Health Unit (OMPHU), playing a key role in developing, implementing and evaluating communication and stakeholder engagement activities that support the Unit's strategic priorities and public health outcomes. We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled communications professional to join our team and help drive awareness, engagement and positive health outcomes across our communities.
As the communications specialist for the OMPHU, you will provide expert advice and support to enhance understanding of public health programs, initiatives and priorities. You will create compelling and high-quality content across a range of communication channels, support stakeholder engagement activities, and contribute to positive media and public relations outcomes.
Working closely with the Albury Wodonga Health Communications Team, Department of Health communications representatives, and a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, you will help ensure communication activities are coordinated, consistent and aligned with organisational priorities, brand standards and media policies.
This is an exciting opportunity to use your communications expertise to support evidence-based public health initiatives and contribute to healthier communities throughout the Ovens Murray region.
