The Internal Service Advisor plays a crucial role in the success of both the Sales and Service departments of the dealership. This role is responsible for serving as a liaison between multiple departments to ensure vehicles are efficiently prepared to be sold and added to the inventory in a timely manner.
What You Will Do
- Coordinate service and repair work for dealership-owned vehicles, including pre-owned, sales, and other internal inventory.
- Create and manage repair orders, document requested work, and ensure repair information is accurate and complete.
- Review technician findings and coordinate repair needs, approvals, parts, and next steps with the appropriate departments.
- Monitor vehicles throughout the repair and reconditioning process, following up on delays and helping keep work moving efficiently.
- Communicate vehicle status, repair needs, costs, and estimated completion times to internal stakeholders.
- Verify completed work and documentation before closing repair orders and releasing vehicles.
- Partner with technicians, Parts, Sales, Pre-Owned, and Service leadership to support timely vehicle readiness.
What We Are Looking For
- Previous automotive service, reconditioning, or dealership experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of automotive repair processes, repair orders, and dealership service operations.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple vehicles and priorities at the same time.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technicians, managers, and other dealership departments.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation and follow-through.
- Ability to identify delays, resolve routine issues, and keep vehicles progressing through the service process.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced dealership environment where vehicle turnaround time and quality are important.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

Pay : $35 - $35 / hour
