Sweeten Someone's Day as a Lolly Trolley Volunteer
Do you love bringing smiles to others? Join us on Wednesdays as a Lolly Trolley Volunteer and help add a little sweetness, laughter, and companionship to residents' day.
Roll through the cottages delivering favourite treats while enjoying friendly chats and getting to know the people who call our home theirs. For our residents, choosing a lolly is serious business! From passionate caramel fans to devoted mint lovers, every visit sparks conversation, fond memories, and plenty of debate about which sweet treat is the ultimate favourite.
- Wednesdays (Between 10-11am or 1-4pm)
- 1 hour visits - Flexible daytime volunteering
- One-on-one and small group interactions
- Treats and trolley provided

More than a sweet treat, the Lolly Trolley brings joy, choice, and connection for residents living with dementia. The excitement of seeing the purpose-built trolley arrive, selecting a favourite lolly or chocolate, and sharing a friendly chat can spark memories, encourage conversation, and brighten the day.
Your impact
Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
