What's the role?
Join Westpac's Group Procurement team and play an important role in helping our business connect with the external talent and specialist expertise it needs to succeed. As a Procurement Commercial Associate within our External Workforce Sourcing team, you'll partner with hiring managers across the Group, providing advice and support throughout the external labour sourcing process. You'll work closely with suppliers, negotiate commercial outcomes, ensure contracts are fit for purpose, and help deliver solutions that balance business needs, risk requirements and value.
This is a full-time, hybrid opportunity based in Sydney.
What do I need?
- Experience supporting procurement, sourcing, supplier management or commercial activities.
- Familiarity with contracts and the ability to support the review, negotiation and execution of commercial agreements.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to advise and influence a broad range of stakeholders.
- Commercial acumen, sound problem-solving capability and a continuous improvement mindset.
- The ability to work with data, reporting and business processes to support effective decision-making and external labour management.
