JOB SUMMARY:

The Levermore Global Scholars Program and the department of Anthropology, Adelphi University, New York, invite applications for a part-time faculty position beginning in January 2027. While the geographic and research areas are open, the department seeks a candidate with experience teaching introductory Cultural Anthropology, Political Economy, and/or First Year and Senior Year college seminars from a global perspective. The candidate should be prepared to teach two sections a semester.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- A master's degree in Anthropology is required.
- Applicants actively pursing a Ph.D are preferred.

SALARY INFORMATION:

In compliance with New York’s Pay Transparency Act, the salary for this position is $1,937 per credit.
