About this role
The Trust and Safety(TnS) engineering team dedicated to maintaining a safe and trustworthy environment for users of TikTok. By developing and continuously improving machine learning models and information systems, the team aims to identify and monitor risks earlier and more efficiently, while responding rapidly to emerging incidents.
Leveraging AI technologies, the team supports business growth by building more efficient, agile, and comprehensive capabilities to safeguard the health and safety of the platform ecosystem.
- Lead platform-side development for systems and product capabilities related to community safety across TikTok, including but not limited to content understanding, risk identification, policy/strategy generation, automated enforcement, and operational efficiency. Collaborate closely with product, algorithm, and other cross-functional teams, develop a deep understanding of community safety and content moderation scenarios, and continuously improve related systems and capabilities.
- Own the team’s technical planning and roadmap, and continuously drive incremental value across areas such as technical architecture, business impact, product development and operational efficiency, service quality, and system stability.
- Own team goal setting and project execution, while supporting the development, coaching, and growth of team members.
