Purpose:
We are currently recruiting for an Intermediate Cost Analyst. Our team includes world class experts and dynamic go-getters. This is a full-time position based in Calgary, Alberta.

Responsibilities:

- Development of monthly cost report and cost forecast.
- Set up and administration of monthly incurred cost flow.
- Setting of original budget and estimate recast.
- Ensure costs are tracked properly with appropriate use of WBS and CBS coding.
- Change management coordination.
- Administration and maintenance of Ecosys.
- Consolidation and development of month end cost and progress reporting.

What you will bring:
Technical and Industry Experience:

- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in cost management, earned value, cash flows, invoice support, and performance measurement.
- Project Controls experience working on engineering projects.
- Proficiency in EcoSys® an asset.
- Working knowledge of Earned Value Measurement in engineering, procurement & construction.
- Cost engineering and estimating knowledge.
- Strong knowledge of, and the interrelationship of a good technical project scope definition, quality of the schedule and estimate, construction sequence and execution, procurement and contracting strategies, commissioning and start up.
- Capable of developing and maintaining control budget (TIC & Services), and forecast scopes of work.
- Full understanding of cross-functional interfaces with engineering, procurement.
- Capable of managing impact of change & trends, project KPI’s.
- Understanding of financial interface for expenditures, revenue recognition, invoicing, cash flow / cash calls.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence and relationship building skills.
- Proven review skills, as well as presentation and facilitation skills.

Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:

Required:

- A university degree or diploma in engineering, business, or technical diploma.
- Certification by PMI (PMP) and/or AACE or similar accredited project management institute an asset.
