Your Key Responsibilities
We are hiring a Senior IT Solutions Engineer with 10+ years of experience and strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Database administration and Linux administration . This role focuses on 3rd Level Support , advanced troubleshooting, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) , and permanent issue resolution for critical manufacturing infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 3rd Level Support for Manufacturing Applications infrastructure focussing on Oracle Database and Linux administration
- Handle complex incidents, problem management, and advanced troubleshooting
- Perform RCA and implement permanent corrective actions
- Plan and execute Oracle Database and Linux patching, migrations and upgrades
- Drive service stabilization, recovery, and operational improvements
- Create and maintain SOPs, runbooks, patching plans, and technical documentation
- Work independently and within a product team
- Coordinate with internal teams and, where needed, the Managed Service Provider
Your Qualifications
Required Experience
- 10+ years Oracle Database administration experience
- 7+ years Linux administration experience
- Strong experience in incident management, problem management, and RCA
- Strong work planning , self-organization, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership
- Relevant certifications required to validate experience
Preferred Skills
- Oracle Database 19c+, Oracle Cloud Control 13.5+, Oracle RMAN
- Linux: SUSE Linux 15+, Oracle Linux 8/9, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8/9
- ServiceNow
