Managing Consultant – Data Engineer | Adelaide

Altis is growing in South Australia, and we're looking for a Managing Consultant who wants more than a delivery role.

You'll work with clients to solve complex data problems, lead modern data and analytics solutions and help build the capability, reputation and client relationships of our Adelaide team.

This role combines technical delivery, consulting and leadership. You'll remain close to the work while having the opportunity to influence how our South Australian practice develops.

What you'll do

- Lead end-to-end Data & Analytics engagements.

- Design and deliver modern data platforms and engineering solutions.

- Work across Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric and broader cloud ecosystems.

- Turn complex client challenges into pragmatic and scalable solutions.

- Lead and mentor consultants.

- Provide trusted technical and advisory support to clients.

- Contribute to solution shaping, proposals and new opportunities.

- Help develop Altis' presence and capability in the South Australian market.

What you'll bring

We're looking for someone with strong Data & Analytics foundations and experience working directly with clients.

Your background may include:

- Data engineering, analytics engineering or data architecture

- Snowflake, Databricks and/or Microsoft Fabric

- Modern ELT/data integration patterns

- Data modelling and data quality

- Cloud data platforms

- Technical delivery leadership

- Consulting or advisory environments

Just as importantly, you'll be commercially curious, collaborative and comfortable having constructive conversations with clients about what will actually deliver value.
