Principal Consultant – Data & Analytics | Auckland

Lead complex data engagements and help build what's next for Altis in New Zealand.

We're looking for an experienced Data & Analytics leader who combines technical depth, consulting capability and commercial awareness. As a Principal Consultant, you'll work with some of our most complex client challenges, helping shape the solution before guiding teams through successful delivery.

You'll also play a broader leadership role: mentoring consultants, strengthening client relationships, supporting business development and helping grow Altis capability and presence in New Zealand.

What you'll do

- Lead complex Data & Analytics engagements.

- Shape architecture and solution approaches for modern data platforms.

- Advise clients across data strategy, architecture, engineering and analytics.

- Lead quality and technical reviews.

- Mentor and develop consultants.

- Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.

- Partner with our commercial team to identify and shape new opportunities.

- Contribute to the continued development of our New Zealand practice.

What you'll bring

We're looking for breadth with meaningful technical depth.

Your experience may span:

- Data architecture

- Data engineering

- Data warehousing and modelling

- Analytics and BI

- Modern cloud data platforms

- Data governance

- Technical delivery leadership

- Client advisory and consulting

You'll be someone who can move comfortably between the boardroom and the delivery team able to talk about business outcomes with senior stakeholders and then work with technical teams to make sure the solution can actually deliver them.
