Air Logistics Revenue Care Specialist

Kuehne+Nagel NZ have an opportunity for someone to join our Auckland based Air Logistics business unit. Reporting to the National Air Logistics Revenue Care Manager, and a member of the Air Logistics Revenue Care team (RCC), you will have responsibility for carrying out related financial and revenue care tasks for air logistics shipments.

How you create impact

- Manage and perform all revenue care activities related to export and import air logistics shipments through Business Process Automation (BPA)
- Timely actioning of Supplier Invoices through PTP and resolution of any issues
- Generate invoices for customers accurately and within expected timeframes
- Handle daily FSL activities including month end closing
- Lead CASS challenge resolution and work on improvement processes
- Alongside the National Air Logistics Revenue Care Manager, drive for automation improvements such as semi-invoice automation, quote utilisation and FSL auto file closing
- Ensure proactive and efficient communication with GS RCC, CCL and OCC to drive customer excellence
- Understand and review the file before opening a TAG or an AD-HOC
- Coordinate with OCC team for cost topics around haulers, carriers and third parties
- Coordinate with CCL team for revenue topics related to charges towards the customer
- Build relationships with various external parties including airlines, transport providers and overseas offices/agents
- Ensure strong data quality is available for timely and accurate customer reporting
- Support in resolving claims and disputes where required
- Collaborate with the relevant internal KN teams including the warehouse, customs, CCL and OCC teams as required

- Open to experienced candidates or candidates currently pursuing a degree or recent graduate wanting to start their career in the logistics industry
- Excellent attention to detail skills coupled with a high level of accuracy
- Financial acumen including an interest in working with numbers and data
- Process and system-driven mindset
- Demonstrated methodical, organized and planned approach to work
- Strong organizational skills, including the ability to effectively manage and prioritise your time, especially when under pressure and with a busy workload
- Ability to think outside the box and solve problems proactively
- Demonstrable initiative and drive to follow tasks through to completion
- Ability to build relationships with all stakeholders, internal and external, including building positive working relationships with others
