About this role
We’re looking for an Enterprise Sales Manager to build and scale Qashier’s enterprise business in Kuala Lumpur.
This is a high-impact individual contributor role for a proven enterprise hunter who knows how to open doors, navigate complex buying organisations, and close significant commercial deals.
You will own the full enterprise sales cycle — from identifying high-value target accounts and creating opportunities from scratch, through discovery, stakeholder engagement, commercial negotiation, and contract close.
Qashier is expanding beyond the SME segment into larger multi-location merchants, enterprise brands, and businesses with significant offline and online payment volumes. You will play a critical role in accelerating that growth.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially sharp salesperson who enjoys building pipeline, winning complex deals, and operating with a high degree of ownership and autonomy.
##
What You'll Be Doing
As part of Qashier’s Commercial team, you’ll be responsible for building a high-quality enterprise pipeline and converting strategic accounts into long-term Qashier customers.
Your responsibilities include:
- Build and own a pipeline of high-value enterprise and multi-location merchant opportunities across Malaysia.
- Identify and prospect strategic accounts across retail, F&B, hospitality, healthcare, e-commerce, and other high-volume merchant segments.
- Create new business opportunities through targeted outbound prospecting, industry relationships, referrals, networking, and account-based strategies.
- Lead the full enterprise sales cycle from initial outreach and qualification through discovery, solution design, proposal, negotiation, and contract closure.
- Conduct structured discovery to understand the client's commercial priorities, payment flows, operational challenges, technology environment, and decision criteria.
- Develop compelling business cases and value propositions that connect Qashier’s payments and commerce platform to measurable client outcomes.
- Navigate complex buying organisations involving C-suite, Finance, Operations, IT, Procurement, and other key stakeholders.
- Build stakeholder maps, identify champions and decision-makers, and develop strategies to move complex opportunities forward.
- Own commercial negotiations, including pricing, solution scope, contract terms, and internal approval processes.
- Consistently deliver against quarterly and annual revenue, payment volume, and new-logo acquisition targets.
- Maintain strong pipeline discipline, forecasting accuracy, opportunity hygiene, and next-step ownership within the CRM.
- Develop account strategies for priority enterprise logos and identify opportunities for future expansion.
- Partner closely with Product, Operations, Marketing, Customer Success, Risk, and other internal teams to ensure successful solution design and merchant onboarding.
- Provide structured market intelligence on customer needs, competitive activity, commercial trends, and product gaps.
- Represent Qashier professionally at industry events, business forums, and strategic networking opportunities.
- Continuously improve your sales approach using deal reviews, pipeline data, customer feedback, and market insights.
##
What We're Looking For
You’ll be successful in this role if you are a genuine enterprise hunter who combines persistence with commercial judgment.
You are comfortable creating opportunities where none exist, engaging senior decision-makers, and maintaining control of complex sales cycles without requiring constant direction.
We’re looking for someone with:
- 5–10 years of B2B or enterprise sales experience, preferably within FinTech, Payments, POS, SaaS, Commerce Technology, or another relevant B2B technology environment.
- A demonstrated track record of personally originating and closing significant enterprise or strategic new-business opportunities.
- Strong evidence of building pipeline independently rather than relying primarily on inbound leads or inherited accounts.
- Experience managing complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, commercial negotiations, and longer decision timelines.
- A strong record of achieving or exceeding revenue, quota, payment volume, or new-business targets.
- Experience selling to senior stakeholders including C-suite, Finance, Operations, IT, Procurement, or business owners.
- Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to uncover business problems and translate them into commercially compelling solutions.
- Strong negotiation skills and confidence managing pricing, objections, competitive pressure, and complex commercial discussions.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to understand client economics, business models, payment flows, and ROI.
- A disciplined, data-driven approach to pipeline management and forecasting using CRM systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
- Excellent communication and executive presence.
- High ownership, resilience, urgency, and accountability for outcomes.
- The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional and regional stakeholders.
It would be a plus if you have experience with:
- Enterprise payments, merchant acquiring, payment gateways, POS, or omnichannel commerce.
- Selling into multi-location retail, F&B, hospitality, healthcare, e-commerce, or other high-transaction-volume businesses.
- Building relationships within Malaysia’s enterprise merchant ecosystem.
- Account-based selling or strategic enterprise prospecting.
- Developing commercial proposals involving payment economics, transaction volumes, platform fees, or technology integrations.
- Working in a fast-growing FinTech, SaaS, technology, or scale-up environment.
##
What Great Looks Like
In this role, activity alone is not enough. Success is measured by commercial outcomes.
Strong performers will:
- Create meaningful enterprise pipeline rather than wait for opportunities to arrive.
- Gain access to senior decision-makers within priority accounts.
- Run structured, commercially intelligent discovery conversations.
- Maintain clear control of stakeholders, decision criteria, risks, and next steps throughout the sales cycle.
- Build credible business cases rather than compete purely on price.
- Progress complex opportunities with urgency and discipline.
- Forecast accurately.
- Close strategic new logos.
- Build long-term relationships that create opportunities for expansion.
- Consistently demonstrate ownership of both the process and the outcome.
##
Why Join Qashier?
- Take ownership of a strategically important enterprise market in Malaysia.
- Build Qashier’s next generation of high-value merchant relationships.
- Sell an integrated payments and commerce platform rather than a single-point solution.
- Work directly with senior leadership and cross-functional decision-makers.
- Operate with a high degree of autonomy and visibility.
- Join a fast-growing regional FinTech operating across Southeast Asia.
- Work in an environment where strong commercial judgment, ambition, and execution are recognised.
- Enjoy competitive total compensation with meaningful upside for high performance.
