About the role:

As Head – Corporate Quality, you will be responsible for heading the Quality Assurance and Quality Control function, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory compliance. In this role, you will also drive digital transformation, system excellence, and continuous improvement across processes and products.

Key responsibilities:

- Strategy & Leadership: Develop overall quality vision, policies and roadmaps aligned with overall business goals; manage and mentor QA Leads and QA teams across the organization
- Systems Management: Design, implement and maintain various quality management systems and Certifications required for the business like IMS (ISO 9001); FSSC, FDA, Halal, Kosher etc. Manage quality manuals, procedures and documentation requirements for these systems and certifications. Ensuring competency building of teams on these systems and certifications.
- Compliance & Audits: Ensure adherence to standards and regulations; plan and conduct internal & external audits; manage supplier quality. Ensure business risks are identified and proactively mitigated
- Process Improvement: Drive root cause analysis, implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA); promote culture of continuous improvement in quality
- Data & Reporting: Analyze quality metrics, process trends, defect trends & customer complaints. Reporting of performance against key performance indicators (KPI’s) and risks to senior management. Needs to provide strategic recommendations to senior management on quality
- Customer Support: Be the custodian of quality and represent the organization on quality matters with end customers. Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs and ensure our products and services meet them
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with different stake holders like R&D, Tech Transfer, Manufacturing, Engineering, Projects, Commercial, etc. to integrate quality requirements right from the design stage and throughout the lifecycle.

Who are we looking for?

Education

- Graduation in Science (Chemistry) or BE/B.Tech in Engineering or B. Pharma

Experience

- 15-18 years of experience in QA/QC, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Experience of managing cross-functional or multi-site QA teams
- Experience of QA in Pharma sector is desired
- Strong knowledge of quality systems, regulatory frameworks (ISO, GMP), and audit management
- Experience in driving digital initiatives and system improvements in quality functions preferred
