About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and commercially focused Head of Digital & Technology to lead the next phase of a business-wide digital transformation journey.

As a member of the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for shaping and delivering a strategic technology roadmap that supports sustainable growth, operational excellence, and an enhanced customer experience. Working closely with leaders across Sales, Service, Operations, and Finance, you will ensure that technology investments deliver measurable business value and long-term scalability.

The Role

This is a highly visible leadership position with responsibility for driving the organisation's digital strategy, technology capability, data agenda, and transformation programmes.

Key responsibilities include:

- ### Developing and delivering the organisation's digital transformation roadmap.
- ### Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, customer experience, and commercial performance through technology.
- ### Leading business-wide transformation initiatives across multiple functions.
- ### Defining and maintaining the technology architecture and systems strategy.
- ### Overseeing enterprise platforms, including ERP, CRM, and service management systems.
- ### Establishing strong data governance, reporting, and business intelligence capabilities.
- ### Enabling data-driven decision making across commercial, operational, and financial functions.
- ### Managing technology vendors and strategic delivery partners.
- ### Ensuring robust cybersecurity, compliance, and operational resilience.
- ### Leading, developing, and inspiring a high-performing technology team.
- ### Driving adoption of new digital tools and capabilities through effective change management.

About You

We are looking for a strategic technology leader with a strong track record of delivering transformation and business change.

You will bring:

- ### Significant experience leading digital transformation or technology strategy within a complex organisation.
- ### Strong knowledge of ERP, CRM, enterprise applications, and systems integration.
- ### Experience delivering large-scale cross-functional transformation programmes.
- ### A proven ability to align technology initiatives with commercial objectives.
- ### Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- ### Experience influencing senior leadership teams and driving organisational change.
- ### A commercial mindset with a focus on delivering measurable business outcomes.

Desirable Experience

Experience within one or more of the following sectors would be beneficial:

- ### Medical Devices
- ### Healthcare Technology
- ### Life Sciences
- ### Scientific Instrumentation
- ### Engineering
- ### Manufacturing
- ### Technical Services

Experience operating within regulated environments and developing advanced analytics or data-driven capabilities would also be advantageous.
