About Our Family
We are a warm, close-knit household of two — a driven, compassionate parent and a bright, creative teenager — along with a couple of dogs who bring plenty of personality of their own! Our home is full of energy, laughter, and warmth, and we value the people we welcome into our lives. We’re looking for someone dependable, caring, proactive, and easygoing who can step into our afternoons with confidence, help keep things running smoothly, and become a trusted part of our family’s routine.
Afternoons are the heart of our day, and we’re looking for someone who can help everything flow a little more smoothly — from school pickup and activities to homework, dinner, errands, and winding down at home. Our teenager is bright and creative, and we’re looking for someone who will engage with her, take an interest in what she enjoys, and be a supportive presence in her day-to-day life. Above all, we value kindness, authenticity, and flexibility. We’re a relaxed, easygoing household, and we’re looking for someone who can embrace the occasional change of plans, pitch in where needed, communicate openly, and build a meaningful connection with our family.
Who You Are / What We're Looking For
You’re a warm, reliable self-starter who naturally notices what needs to be done and takes ownership without needing constant direction. You bring a calm, positive presence to a busy household, communicate openly when plans change, and are flexible and comfortable pitching in wherever needed. You’re thoughtful and dependable, taking pride in being someone a family can truly count on. You also love dogs and are comfortable providing attentive, hands-on care, including administering medications when needed.
We’re looking for someone with experience supporting children and teenagers who brings patience, empathy, and genuine engagement to their work. You’re comfortable balancing a variety of household needs, from coordinating errands and vendors to preparing meals and organizing the home. Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who values trust and discretion, enjoys working closely with a family, and would be excited to build a genuine, long-term relationship with ours.
