POSITION PROFILE
The Marketing Manager turns hotel and global brand strategy into organized, consistent execution. Approximately 80% of the role is dedicated to hotel marketing support, with 20% focused on global brand initiatives across the Americas. The role supports digital campaign deployment, Meta Business Suite governance, reporting, content and asset management, property collateral, website support, hotel transitions and brand campaign activation. It works directly with hotel leaders, regional commercial teams, brand partners and vendors to keep marketing activity current, compliant and effective.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILTIES
Portfolio Marketing Operations
· Serve as a primary corporate marketing resource for assigned hotels, prioritizing support based on business need, available resources, campaign timing and revenue opportunity.
· Maintain clear work plans, timelines and follow-up for hotel marketing requests, ensuring deliverables move forward and stakeholders understand status and next steps.
· Coordinate with hotel leaders, regional sales and revenue teams, brand contacts, agencies and vendors to execute approved marketing initiatives accurately and on time.
· Document recurring processes, platform access, vendor contacts and property-specific requirements so knowledge is retained and work can transition efficiently
Digital Marketing & Performance
· Ensure appropriate brand and third-party digital marketing platforms are funded, active and aligned with approved hotel strategies, including metasearch, paid search, sponsored listings and OTA advertising.
· Monitor campaign setup, pacing and performance; identify inactive, underfunded or misaligned campaigns and coordinate corrective action with hotels, brands or vendors.
· Run and organize performance reports, summarize results and contribute to hotel-level and portfolio marketing roll-ups for leadership review.
· Support testing and optimization of campaign messaging, audiences, offers and channel mix within approved budgets and brand requirements.
Reporting
· Maintain visibility into approved hotel marketing budgets and confirm funds are loaded, activated and deployed in the intended channels.
· Prepare recurring marketing performance reporting and portfolio summaries that connect activity, spend and results.
Social Media & Meta Business Suite
· Own onboarding and offboarding of property Facebook and Instagram accounts as hotels enter or leave the Valor Americas portfolio, ensuring channels, assets and permissions are transferred correctly.
· Maintain oversight of Americas property social accounts within Valor’s Meta ecosystem, including ownership, administrators, partner access, permissions and security.
· Troubleshoot access and asset-control issues, maintain current account documentation and reduce reliance on individual employee credentials.
· Provide tactical guidance on social media best practices and support properties that require limited corporate assistance.
Digital Asset & Content Management
· Maintain an organized, accessible library of current property photography, video, logos, menus, brand files, templates and collateral; archive outdated materials using consistent naming and version control.
· Coordinate with hotels to collect photography and video regularly, organize submissions, confirm usage rights where applicable and identify content gaps.
· Build a dependable pipeline of property-level content for hotel, regional and global marketing needs.
· Coordinate photography and video shoots as assigned, including pre-shoot planning, property readiness, shot lists, vendor communication, asset delivery and file organization.
Creative & Property Marketing Support
· Create professional, brand-compliant sales and marketing collateral, menus, flyers, presentations, email marketing and other quick-turn materials for hotels without dedicated marketing support.
· Maintain strong graphic design standards while balancing speed, accuracy, readability and brand consistency.
· Support basic photo editing, video editing and short-form content creation when capabilities and project priorities allow.
Digital Presence & Brand Compliance
· Conduct website and digital presence audits, coordinate content updates and help keep property information, imagery, offers, links and brand details accurate across approved channels.
· Review marketing materials and activations for compliance with Valor, hotel brand and ownership requirements before release.
· Identify outdated, inconsistent or off-brand content and coordinate corrections with the appropriate property, brand or vendor partner.
Transitions, Openings & Global Brand Support
· Support hotel transitions, new openings and smaller properties without marketing teams or agencies by coordinating account access, digital assets, listings, collateral and launch requirements.
· Support rollout of Valor global and regional campaigns by coordinating property participation, collecting content and assets, adapting campaign materials and tracking activation.
· Maintain campaign toolkits, timelines and participation records so initiatives are deployed consistently across the portfolio.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
DESIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Four-year degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, hospitality, business or a related field preferred; equivalent education and relevant experience considered.
Experience
Minimum three years of marketing, digital marketing, hospitality marketing or closely related experience preferred. Multi-property, hotel brand, agency or corporate marketing experience is a plus.
Digital Marketing
Working knowledge of metasearch, paid search, sponsored listings, OTA advertising, email marketing, website content and performance reporting.
Social Platforms
Hands-on experience with Meta Business Suite, Facebook and Instagram account administration, permissions and asset management strongly preferred.
Design Capability
Strong graphic design skills and demonstrated ability to create polished, brand-compliant marketing materials. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud and/or Canva required.
Technology
Proficiency with Microsoft 365, AI platforms, digital asset libraries, reporting tools and web-based marketing platforms. Ability to learn and work across different hotel brand systems.
Communication
Strong written, verbal and visual communication skills. Able to work confidently with hotel teams, vendors, brand partners, ownership and senior leadership.
Preferred Skills
Social media strategy, short-form content creation, video editing, photography coordination and hospitality campaign experience are preferred.
Travel
Ability to travel up to 15%, including occasional overnight travel for hotel transitions, openings, meetings and photo/video shoots.
Schedule
Full-time, office-based position in Atlanta .
PHYSICAL & WORK REQUIREMENTS
· Ability to remain seated or standing for extended periods and operate standard office equipment and computer systems.
· Ability to move throughout hotels and event spaces during property visits, openings, meetings and photo/video shoots.
· Ability to lift and carry marketing materials, equipment or displays weighing up to 20 pounds.
· Work is performed primarily in an office environment, with periodic hotel, event and outdoor exposure during travel and content production.
Up to 15% travel, including occasional overnight travel, is required
