About this role
EMPLOYEE STATUS: 20 hours a week.
PROFESSIONAL SKILLS: To provide mental health services to individuals with Intellectual Disabilities/Developmental Disabilities and co-occurring mental health disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group therapy sessions.
Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, monthly progress reports, billing, pre authorizations and discharge summaries.
Utilize evidence-based interventions, such as CBT, DBT, and traumainformed care, etc.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with ethical standards.
Collaborate with Mental Health Assistant Director, PSR manager, health center staff, case managers, and other providers to provide holistic care.
Paiiicipate in clinical supervision and team meetings.
Should be able to function independently with minimal supervision.
Should be able to provide physical assistance as needed during crisis with individuals.
Monthly meetings with supervisor or more as needed.
Support the assistant Director with department administrative duties for minimum five hours a week.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field.
Experience working with the population.
Commitment to ethical and client centered practice.
