Encoder Operator
Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, OT as needed.
Pay Rate: $16/hour
Location: Lithia Springs, GA 30122
Experience: 2+ years - These are older machines, nothing is automated. The only thing electronic on the machines is the on/off switch. Everything has to be set and adjusted manually by hand/tools.
PrideStaff has an exciting new opportunity to share for an Encoder Operator in Lithia Springs, GA!
Encoder Operator Responsibilities:
Responsible for setting up to 4 individual numbering heads on 2 separate machines in order to produce numbered checks and forms. Perform adjustments to encoder as needed. Change out impact pads as they become worn on each of the numbering hammers. Change MICR and Arabic ribbons out as necessary to meet order specifications. Grease all of the fittings on the machine once a month. Oil the hammer for each numbering tower on a daily basis.
Encoder Operator Skills:
Strong attention to detail. Must be able to complete basic math. Must uphold a safe working environment. Mechanical inclination. Communication and organizational skills.
Encoder Operator Requirements: Must be able to multitask in a fast paced environment. Manual dexterity and efficiency. Must be good with details and mechanically inclined. Able to provide 2 professional references. Willingness to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screen.
