About this role

- Greet and assist patients, physicians, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Answer phones, take accurate messages, and direct calls appropriately
- Schedule and coordinate office visits and testing
- Provide patients with accurate appointment, testing, and preparation instructions
- Coordinate physician schedules and communicate schedule changes to clinical staff
- Maintain accurate patient records, reports, schedules, and documentation
- Assist with pre-admission testing and procedure coordination
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, nurses, and other departments
- Perform general administrative duties including faxing, scanning, correspondence, and document preparation
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow departmental and organizational policies
- Assist with training new staff and support the team during high-volume periods
- Perform additional duties as assigned

- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate degree or higher preferred
- Previous medical office experience preferred
- EPIC experience preferred
- Knowledge of medical or cardiovascular terminology is a plus
- Strong computer, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to take initiative and work independently when appropriate
