Job Description:
The Account Manager oversees day-to-day operations of the assigned product line, including sales, renewal and servicing of the accounts. This position is responsible for building strong relationships with agents, vendors, prospective customers, and existing clients. Manages current accounts including annual plan evaluation and comparison, providing suggestions on products, and conducting the renewal process. Acts as the project management lead for new products and new vendor evaluations. Hires and provides training to department employees. Develops and files marketing, training and compliance documentation with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). All functions and responsibilities must be implemented in compliance with state and federal government requirements. Education:
▪ Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
▪ Preferred: Bachelors in a Related Field
Experience:
▪ Preferred: 3-5 Years Related Experience
Skills:
▪ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
▪ Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams.
▪ Self-starter
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
▪ Required: Currently licensed as a Life and Health Producer by the Missouri Department of Insurance or agree to become licensed within 90 days of hire is required for this position
