Summary

The Handwork Assistant II performs tasks that support order fulfillment and shipment preparation. This task-based role is focused on executing assigned duties with greater autonomy, building on prior experience to ensure quality and efficiency in processes such as scanning, kit matching, poly bagging, and sealing products. Employees at this level are capable of independently interpreting job tickets, identifying materials, and managing orders from start to finish. They contribute to workflow success by applying deep knowledge of client-specific requirements and proactively identifying errors or inconsistencies.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Independently interprets and executes job tickets, including understanding client-specific requirements.

- Selects, pulls, and stages required materials without direction.

- Manages the full order fulfillment process from beginning to end, including packaging, labeling, preparing and procesing shipments.

- Identifies and resolves discrepancies in tickets using client knowledge and process familiarity.

- Verifies product quality and packing accuracy against client standards.

- Maintains accurate records of packaging, inventory movement, and order completion.

- Organizes and restocks materials to maintain an efficient workflow.

- Uses e-ticketing system with minimal assistance.

- Provides input on process improvements or errors in documentation

- Collaborates with leads, supervisors, and team members to ensure order accuracy and timely completion.

- Follows all safety protocols and company compliance standards.

- Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

- Performs other duties as assigned, often supporting more complex or custom job setups.

Qualifications & Requirements

High School graduate, or completion of GED preferred.
Experience: 1 -2 year Handwork/PicknPack department or a similar role.
Must possess basic computer and database skills. Most posses a sense of urgency.
Must be able to read and understand product SKU.

Working Conditions

Must be able to perform the essential job duties. Work may be performed in an office, warehouse and/or manufacturing environment. Requires the ability to perform the following activities for the majority of the day: stand for extended periods of time, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or climb. In addition, requires the ability to lift and/or push up to 50 pounds. May be exposed to noise and be required to wear hearing protection for the duration of the shift.
