Software Engineer I

Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled Software Engineer I to join our team!

In this role you will develop, enhance, and sustain the information management software and services infrastructure behind the customer's High-Performance Computing (HPC) environment, working entirely in Linux. Day to day you will build and maintain Python services, automate deployments with Ansible, back them with PostgreSQL, and ship through containerized GitLab CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications:

- Active TS/SCI + FS Polygraph

- Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university OR

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus two (2) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity OR

- Four (4) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Required Skills + Experience :

- Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux tools

- Recent software development experience using Python

- Familiar with automation frameworks including Ansible for orchestrating deployment

- Familiar with SQL technologies including PostgreSQL

- Familiar with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI

- Familiar with containerization technologies such as Docker, PodMan, containerd

- Experience with Git Source Control System

Desired Skills + Experience

- Familiar with Agile, Scrum, or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies

- Familiar with Datacenter Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tools such as Netbox

- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
