Station or Machines:
- Saw
- Face and center machine
- Crane
- Pallet lifter
- Bar chamfering
JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify bar stock
- Handle bar stock
- Signoff sheets
- Report non-conforming material
- Report maintenance problems
- Review blueprint revisions
- Sawing, facing and centering
- Record heat lot numbers
- Identify pallets and containers
- Move materials to the next area
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications (Experience, Education or Certification)
- High school graduate
- Two (2) years vocational school
- One (1) year previous saw experience
Minimum Physical Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
- Must be able to load/unload parts with a hoist
- Must be able to move parts using pallet lifter
Minimum Qualifications
- One (1) year experience on saw or high school graduate and six (6) months experience
- Safety rules and procedures
- Setup and operation of equipment
- Department procedures
- Must be able to read and write in English
