About the Role

Join Coca-Cola’s Customer Strategic Insights (CSI) team, a highly visible and influential group embedded within the Foodservice & On-Premise (FSOP) organization. Our team serves as a strategic partner to Customers, Sales, Customer Marketing, and senior leadership and transforms data, insights, and marketplace intelligence into actionable growth strategies for our customers and The Coca-Cola Company.

We are seeking a Director, Customer Strategic Insights to lead customer, category, and consumer insight initiatives that shape business strategy and drive marketplace growth. This role combines analytics, primary research, strategic planning, and compelling storytelling to identify opportunities, solve business challenges, and influence decision-making both internally and externally.

The ideal candidate is equally comfortable analyzing complex business questions, leading cross-functional initiatives, engaging customers, and translating insights into clear, actionable recommendations that create value for customers and Coca-Cola.

Key Responsibilities

Insight Generation & Storytelling

- Develop compelling narratives grounded in consumer, customer, category, and industry insights.
- Deliver customer-facing presentations, executive business reviews, industry conference content, and thought leadership that influence business strategy and inspire action.
- Synthesize multiple data sources into a cohesive view of opportunities, and growth drivers.

Strategic Advisor

- Identify emerging marketplace, category, consumer, and customer trends that inform business decisions and growth strategies.
- Translate complex data and insights into clear strategic recommendations and action plans.
- Serve as a trusted thought partner to Customers, Sales, Customer Marketing, and cross-functional stakeholders by developing a deep understanding of the business, identifying root causes of challenges, and translating insights into practical solutions that drive growth.

Collaborative Business Planning Partner

- Partner directly with customers and customer teams to identify, quantify, and activate high-impact growth opportunities through insight-led business planning.
- Support strategic customer business planning through insights-driven recommendations across assortment, occasion, channel, and growth initiatives.
- Help shape customer-specific and channel-specific growth strategies through fact-based insights.

Research & Analytics Leader

- Lead end-to-end qualitative and quantitative research programs, including business question development, methodology design, supplier management, budget oversight, analysis, storytelling, and activation.
- Connect business questions to the right methodologies, data sources, and analytical approaches.
- Ensure research findings are actionable, relevant, and aligned to business objectives.

Capability & Innovation Champion

- Leverage and advance the organization's insight capabilities, data assets, and analytic tools.
- Stay current on emerging research methods, technologies, and industry best practices.
- Promote adoption of new tools, data sources, and innovative approaches across the organization.

Cross-Functional Collaborator

- Build strong partnerships across Customer Value & Growth, Human Insights, Retail Category Leadership, Strategy, Platform Services, and other enterprise teams.
- Influence stakeholders across multiple functions and organizational levels without direct authority.
- Foster alignment around strategic priorities and consistent marketplace narratives.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in insights, category management, strategy, consulting, analytics, customer marketing, or related fields.

- Experience within CPG, foodservice, retail, hospitality, or adjacent industries.

- Demonstrated ability to leverage data and insights to influence business strategy, decision-making, and commercial outcomes.
- Experience presenting strategic recommendations to senior leaders, cross-functional stakeholders, and customers.
- Proven success managing complex projects, competing priorities, and multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience designing and leading qualitative and quantitative research programs, including management of research budgets.
- Experience working directly with Foodservice & On-Premise customers, channels, or commercial teams.
- Strong track record of translating insights into actionable recommendations that drive growth and business results.

- Expertise in synthesizing diverse data sources into actionable business insights.
- Ability to influence across functions and organizational levels.

- Ability to identify, prioritize, and execute against high-impact opportunities.
- Strong project leadership and change management capabilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and modern data visualization tools (Power BI preferred).

Pay Range:
United States: 169,000 - 200,000 USD
