Lease Operator
Position Summary
The Lease Operator is responsible for monitoring and maintaining oil and gas production equipment and lease facilities to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable daily operations. This position involves routine well checks, production monitoring, equipment inspections, basic troubleshooting, and maintaining accurate production records.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections of wells, tanks, separators, pumps, compressors, flowlines, and other production equipment.
- Monitor well and equipment performance and identify changes or issues that may affect production.
- Gauge tanks and record oil, water, and gas production accurately.
- Check pressures, temperatures, levels, and other production measurements.
- Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on production equipment.
- Identify leaks, equipment failures, and safety hazards and report or address them appropriately.
- Operate and monitor valves, pumps, separators, meters, and other lease equipment.
- Coordinate with vacuum trucks, water haulers, chemical vendors, and other field service providers as needed.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe lease locations.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and environmental regulations.
