About this role
Schedule:
Full-time support will be provided throughout enrollment and active academic sessions. Workload will increase during registration, the beginning of each session, academic-progress periods, and graduation processing.
Summary:
The Academic Advisor will support NNSY apprentices throughout their academic progression by providing guidance related to enrollment, academic requirements, student progress, and program completion.
Requirements:
- Must have experience in academic advising, counseling, coaching, or student services.
- Must understand academic enrollment and student-progress processes.
- Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must appropriately protect confidential student information.
Duties:
- Assist apprentices with academic planning, enrollment, and registration.
- Monitor student progress and identify students requiring additional support.
- Provide academic coaching and guidance throughout the program.
- Assist students with graduation requirements and academic deadlines.
