Distribution Designer

Job Title: Distribution Engineer/Designer Job Description In this role, you will provide support for a major power utility client by performing power distribution design work. This position is entirely remote, and fieldwork is not required. Your primary responsibilities will involve utilizing DDS to support power distribution design tasks. Initially, you will focus on design work, with the potential to take on quality control duties after gaining experience. Responsibilities

- Perform power distribution design work using DDS.
- Utilize Crews, a version of SAP, to complete work orders.
- Conduct quality control checks on designs before submission to the client
- Collaborate with a team to support utility energy projects.
- Potentially lead design reviews and client interactions as you gain experience.

Essential Skills

- 3+ years of experience using DDS for power distribution design.
- Experience supporting FirstEnergy or any of its subsidiaries.
- Ability to conduct quality control on design submissions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- Experience with utility industry standards and practices.
- Knowledge of additional FirstEnergy companies such as Ohio Edison, The Illuminating Company, and others.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
