Central Plains Co-op is recruiting for a Full-Time Yard Attendant for the Home Centre location in Rosetown.
The successful applicant will be dedicated to outstanding customer service, have excellent communication skills and ability to multi-task and lift up to 50 lbs. Our next team member will have the ability to work independently and become a member of a highly motivated team.
Attention to detail, organizational skills and accuracy are essential.
Duties will include but not limited to:
• Shipping and receiving product
• Ensuring the yard and warehouse areas are well maintained and organized
• Loading product for customers
• Picking up product from out of town suppliers
• Providing exceptional customer service
Prior knowledge of building materials, knowledge of dimensional lumber and the ability to operate a forklift is considered an asset. Candidates must have a valid Class 3 drivers license and be willing to work weekends. This position requires heavier lifting and extensive time working in the lumber yard and bays.
