In Precision Strike & Sensing Solutions, we design and manufacture state-of-the-art systems and technology that enable our customers to execute their precision strike missions.
- As a Alternate Facility Security Officer (AFSO), you will assist in upholding and administering the facility’s security program, adhering to strict government rules and regulations regarding physical security, personnel vetting, and information protection.
- You’ll manage the lifecycle of security clearances for personnel, including submitting initial requests, tracking progress, and maintaining accurate records within systems like eQIP and DISS.
- A key goal will be to prepare for and support security inspections conducted by government agencies, ensuring our facility consistently meets the highest standards.
- Day-to-day functions include conducting security briefings for new employees, investigating potential security incidents, and maintaining accurate documentation of all security-related activities.
- You'll also assist with controlling access to secure areas, managing classified documents, and implementing security awareness training programs.
- In the absence of the Facility Security Officer, you will assume full responsibility for all security operations, acting as the primary point of contact for security concerns.
- You’ll collaborate with government security officials and internal teams to address security issues and ensure compliance.
- Support the implementation and upkeep of systems safeguarding information technology, contributing to a robust cybersecurity posture.
- You will support visitor control processes and ensure compliance with established security protocols.
- In addition to general security duties, you will serve as a Communications Security (COMSEC) Custodian, responsible for:
- Maintaining accountability of all COMSEC material assigned to the facility, including cryptographic keys, devices, and related documentation.
- Ensuring proper storage, handling, and destruction of COMSEC material in accordance with NSA/CSS Directives.
- Conducting regular inventories and reporting any discrepancies or losses to the appropriate authorities.
- Managing COMSEC keying material distribution and retrieval processes.
- Maintaining accurate COMSEC records and completing required reporting.
- Participating in COMSEC audits and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Providing training to personnel on proper COMSEC procedures.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Active Secret Clearance and ability to obtain TS.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a security-related role.
- Experience with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM).
- Experience with personnel security clearance processing (eQIP, DISS).
- Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Experience with security systems (e.g., access control, alarm systems).
- Security+ certification
- FSO certification through CDSE
- COMSEC Manager certificaiton through CDSE
- Insider Threat Program Manager through CDSE
- Certified Protection Professional (CPP) certification
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $75254 - $127930

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
