About the Position:

As Qumulo’s Regional Sales Director for the Pacific Northwest (PNW), you will lead the go-to-market strategy and execution across this defined regional territory, driving revenue growth, developing key customer and partner relationships, and empowering your team to consistently exceed sales targets.

We are looking for an experienced sales leader who combines a track record of exceeding quotas with strong business acumen, executive presence, and a passion for developing people. You are comfortable navigating complex enterprise sales cycles, challenging conventional thinking, and building trusted relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.

This opportunity has significant earning potential, backed by the best comp plan in the industry. You'll have an outsized impact on Qumulo’s growth by leading a regional sales organization in one of our top regions, strengthening our presence across key local markets, and building a team that consistently delivers outstanding results.

Responsibilities:

- Team Leadership: Lead, manage, and motivate a team of Account Executives across the NorCal region to foster a high-performance sales culture, and provide mentorship on prospecting, territory planning, complex deal strategy, negotiation, and closing techniques.
- Pipeline Management: Conduct regular pipeline reviews and deal inspections to ensure forecast accuracy and mitigate risks.
- Revenue Targets: Drive the team to achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets for Qumulo's file and object data platform.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive regional strategy targeting enterprise and high-growth data-intensive industries dominant in the PNW (such as Technology, Gaming, Life Sciences, and Media & Entertainment).
- Alliance Collaboration: Build joint go-to-market strategies and drive collaborative revenue with key strategic alliance partners like Cisco, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and OCI.
- Executive Engagement: Personally engage in key executive-level customer meetings to sponsor and close major deals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales Engineering, Marketing, Alliances, and Customer Success to ensure a seamless customer journey.

Qualifications:

- Management Experience: 5+ years of successful sales management experience leading a field sales team focused on enterprise accounts.
- Sales Experience: 8+ years of progressive enterprise software, SaaS, Cloud, or infrastructure sales experience, with an established network of enterprise contacts in the Pacific Northwest territory (Seattle, Portland, and surrounding areas).
- Domain Expertise: Proven expertise in selling enterprise data storage, data management, cloud services, and/or high-performance computing (HPC) solutions.
- Track Record: Demonstrated history of personal and team success in meeting or exceeding sales quotas.

The annual On-Target Earnings (OTE) for this role is USD $350,000 to $375,000 with uncapped commissions, strong accelerators, and benefits including pre-IPO equity.
