Food Protection Quality Technician

WHAT’S NEW WITH APTAR We have an exciting position open in North America: Food Protection Quality Technician reporting to the Quality Engineer III, Food Protection. This position will be based in Auburn, AL.

THIS IS HOW YOUR JOURNEY BEGINS:
ResponsibilitiesInclude but are not limited to the following:

• Perform visual inspection on trays and or other Food Protection product or material during
incoming, in-process or finished product stages
• Notify Food Protection Operator of any quality issue that needs to be addressed
• Initiate Quarantine Process for non-conforming product
• Complete paperwork documenting inspections and provide the issue(s) report to Food
Protection Process Engineer and Food Protection Quality Engineer
• Follow and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) across Food Protection Operation
as they relate to practices that assure proper and safe product manufacturing, packing, and
handling.
• Verify the calibration status of all equipment & instruments being used for measuring
product quality characteristics or requirements.
• Perform any other task as requested, supporting production to achieve optimum productivity
goals.
• Housekeeping.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING ON THE JOURNEY:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Basic Computer Skills required
• Experience in Quality Assurance preferred
