Introduction

We are looking for a Part Lists and Critical Spares Specialist to join our Global Quotation Support and Proposal Management team . You will be responsible for processing Critical Spare Parts proposals, Recommended Parts Lists, and OPA/MOI contract requests, which involves coordinating pricing, lead times, commercial information, and proposal documentation with multiple stakeholders across the business. Your role plays a crucial part in supporting sales opportunities, ensuring proposal accuracy, and delivering timely customer solutions. In this position, you will report to the Part Lists and Critical Spares Proposals Manager .

This position is mainly located in Irapuato Mexico, Sorocaba Brazil, Vilnius Lithuania , but we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options.

Team you belong to

You will join a team of Part Lists and Critical Spares Proposals specialists who are passionate about delivering accurate and timely proposal solutions that support customer and business needs. We are currently working on Critical Spare Parts proposals, Recommended Parts Lists, contract support activities, pricing analysis, and lead-time estimations, while continuously improving processes and service levels.

We collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, such as Market Areas, Business Lines, Segment Heads, Supply Chain Managers, Expert Networks, Product Support teams, and Sales teams. The members of our team are located across multiple global regions, supporting a diverse international business environment.

What you'll do

- Prepare and deliver Critical Spare Parts proposals, Recommended Parts Lists (RPLs), and OPA/MOI contract requests, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timely delivery.

- Coordinate with Supply Chain, Product Support, Expert Networks, and Sales teams to obtain pricing, lead times, and technical information required for proposals.

- Analyze spare parts requirements and develop customer-focused recommendations aligned with operational and maintenance needs.

- Review and validate proposal content, commercial terms, pricing structures, and supporting documentation before submission.

- Support quotation and proposal activities by providing accurate spare parts data and commercial information.

- Monitor proposal progress and proactively follow up with stakeholders to ensure customer deadlines are met.

- Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing proposal quality, efficiency, and customer responsiveness.

- Maintain accurate records and documentation within the relevant business systems and tools.

Who you are

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field.

- Experience in quotation support, spare parts management, supply chain, procurement, customer support, or a related technical-commercial environment.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical, commercial, and operational information.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across global and cross-functional teams.

- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting tight deadlines.

- Customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems such as SAP.

- Nice to have: Experience in the mining industry, spare parts business, Salesforce, proposal management processes, or exposure to Metso products and services.
