About this role
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team at a high-rise condominium community. The ideal candidate will have experience maintaining residential or commercial buildings and possess a strong working knowledge of building systems, preventative maintenance, and general repairs. This position plays a key role in ensuring the property remains safe, clean, and well-maintained while providing exceptional service to residents.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and repairs throughout the property.
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, painting, and carpentry issues.
- Respond promptly to maintenance work orders and resident service requests.
- Inspect and maintain common areas, including hallways, elevators, fitness center, clubhouse, pool areas, parking garage, and mechanical rooms.
- Perform painting, drywall repairs, caulking, pressure washing, and other general maintenance tasks.
- Replace light fixtures, bulbs, ceiling tiles, filters, and other building components as needed.
- Assist with maintaining HVAC equipment, pumps, boilers, and other mechanical systems.
- Monitor building systems and report any operational or safety concerns to management.
- Assist with vendor access and oversee contractors performing work on the property.
- Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and company policies.
- Participate in emergency response procedures, including hurricane preparedness and after-hours emergencies when required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Full-time weekdays flexible schedule (days) may include a weekend rotation every 4
weeks Saturday and Sunday morning 8am-4:30p
Pay Rate: $20.50-$21
