Influence and learn from top strategic customers worldwide, helping them become frontier firms and achieve unparalleled success with Microsoft Copilot and intelligent agents.</p><p>As a Copilot &amp; Agents Solution Engineer (SE), you partner with customers to co‑create their agentic and frontier AI journey, influencing decisions towards Microsoft Copilot technologies. You accelerate digital transformation through Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, and the broader ecosystem, while uncovering new opportunities and collaborating with sales teams to drive adoption. This role combines deep AI expertise with strategic customer engagement to deliver impactful outcomes. </p><p><em>In line with our Flexible Work approach, for roles at Microsoft Germany, we recommend spending at least two days per week in the office or at the customer site.</em></p><p> </p><br><br><b>Responsibilities</b><br><ul><li><strong>Storytelling:</strong> Independently lead technical demos, pilots and envisioning sessions for Copilot and AI Agents. Clearly tell, show and deliver impact of AI Business Solutions. Demo product benefits and explain how solutions achieve measurable business outcomes. </li><li><strong>Customer Engagement:</strong> Serve as a trusted advisor and consultative seller. Develop expert AI skills, identify and demo new opportunities, and collaborate with the SE team to drive and deliver value through PoCs.</li><li><strong>Strategy:</strong> Provide technical input to shape account strategy. Share competitive insights, escalate challenges, and operate with a sales and outcome-driven mindset.</li><li><strong>Solution Design:</strong> Win technical decisions by understanding customer needs, differentiating Microsoft solutions, and quantifying business impact. Lead whiteboarding and envisioning sessions to secure wins and resolve blockers.</li><li><strong>Domain Expertise:</strong> Demonstrate Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Agents, and Extensions in architectural design, proof of concept, and solution envisioning sessions. Apply architecture patterns and consultative selling to address customer challenges and deliver tailored AI business solutions.</li><li><strong>Partner Engagement:</strong> Collaborate with partners in technical engagements and sell-with scenarios. Co-create solutions to maximize business value.</li><li><strong>Joint Development:</strong> Work across engineering and sales teams to deliver innovative business solutions and accelerate AI adoption.</li></ul><p> </p><p> </p><br><br><b>Qualifications</b><br><p><strong>Required Qualifcation (RQs)</strong></p><ul type="disc"><li>Significant technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience</li><li>OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND proven technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience</li><li>OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND demonstrable technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience</li><li>Proficiency in delivering demos, pilots, and technical presentations for Microsoft 365 Copilot and equivalent AI solutions.</li><li>Ability to independently manage technical aspects of customer engagements and document technical close plans.</li><li>Strong consultative selling skills and expert technical skills</li><li>Familiarity with partner co-sell motions and CRM tools like MSX.</li><li>Proficiency in English and German is required (C1 or higher) as the client portfolio is predominantly German-speaking</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications (PQs)</strong></p><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li>Proven experience in technical sales, preferably with AI-powered products or services.</li><li>Strong understanding of enterprise customers' needs and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in simple terms.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and customer success.</li><li>Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and a track record of achieving sales goals.</li><li>Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend industry events</li></ul> <br><br><p>Solution Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across Germany is € 81,500.00 - € 139,200.00 per year.
